Immune Boosting Smoothie Recipe

Power C Sunshine Smoothie


Hands-on time: 5 min  |  Total time: 6 min  |  Yield: 1 serving


1/3 cup canned full-fat coconut milk 1/3 cup water 1/2 fresh large navel orange or 1 small orange, peeled  1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 1 1/4 frozen bananas (approximately 1 rounded cup of 1-inch slices) 1-inch-piece ginger root 1/4 teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for added sweetness (optional, but Dr. Mac’s recommends honey for the antimicrobial properties!)


Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender in the order listed and blend until smooth.  Serve immediately.
